About Dr. Anderson
Dr. Anderson received her doctorate degree in Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine at the University of North Texas. This included a one-year internship with specialization in Neuropsychology at University Hospital in London, Ontario. This was followed by a two-year post-doctorate Fellowship in Neuropsychology at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute in Los Angeles. Prior to opening her practice, she was an associate in a Los Angeles based private practice specializing in forensic consulting.
Dr. Anderson is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the UCLA Department of Psychology where she supervises graduate students in assessment.
Dr. Anderson has worked as a forensic consultant for neuropsychological and psychological injury cases.
For five years, Dr. Anderson was a columnist (“Couples Coach”) for the quarterly wedding publication, Inside Weddings, in which she gave advice to engaged couples on how to create lasting relationships.
She is also a yoga teacher and an avid practitioner and student of yoga. She teaches individual and group yoga classes, and is a certified Strong Yoga 4Fertility instructor.
